This bourbon is crafted with Mash Bill #2, a sour mash of corn, malted barley, and extra Rye. After, it’s matured in American White Oak casks. Blanton’s Gold is hand-bottled from the best Casks at the distillery. The nose on this one is sweet and sour, with prominent notes of bright citrus, cotton candy, cinnamon, honey, and tropical fruit. On the palate, you’ll notice layers of dark fudge, citrus, oak, & heavy cream combined with the spiciness of the extra Rye and hits of pepper. The finish is warm and rich with notes of cinnamon.
