Evesham Wood Le Puits Sec 2017 Pinot Noir 750ml
Winemaker Notes
Intermingling notes of earth and flowers move to an explosive mid-palate of red fruits and plum followed by an elegant, bright, lifted finish. Stock up and experience the evolution of this wine over the next decade.
Critical Acclaim
WE 93 Wine Enthusiast
The estate vineyard, this is dry-farmed and certified organic. Four-fifths of the 1986 planting went into this wine, with tart, wild berry and citrus flavors that penetrate deeply. A whiff of fresh peat moss rises from the glass and invites deeper exploration. These young wines all should benefit from a few more years of bottle age. Editors’ Choice.
JS 93 James Suckling
Attractively complex aromas of spiced red fruit with a sappy, forest-wood edge, as well as stones and chalk. The palate carries a lithe, detailed brand of tannin with mouthwatering, red-fruit flavors and a juicy, upbeat finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
