The Gran Reserva de Ontañón is something unique. This wine stands weightless through time, its evolution marked by absolute patience, where the seemingly still rhythms of nature subtly unfold, tannins and polyphenols intertwining in a symphony of unrepeatable, unique, and incomparable sensations. Creating a great wine is a thrilling challenge, a journey through time where each step presents itself as a challenge, a grand undertaking in which humankind engages in dialogue with nature in a succession of events that possess their own rhythm and that only time can fuse . The Gran Reserva de Ontañón is our fingerprint.
A deep, bright, and clear color with a ruby red hue and brick-red iridescence at the rim, indicating long aging. Reddish highlights are also present, reflecting its aging and evolution.
On the nose, it presents sweet tertiary aromas with good bottle aging. Pronounced dark fruit stands out with notes of cocoa and tobacco. It excels in its enormous complexity, with mineral and balsamic sensations. Dark fruit and spicy aromas. The complexity of this wine causes its bouquet to evolve within the glass, unfolding over time. It stands out for its very rounded palate, with smooth, fluid tannins and vibrant fruit acidity perfectly integrated with the aging process. A persistent and long finish. Decanting is recommended.
