The Domaine Mas d’en Janeil is located at the foot of the Corbiéres, in the heart of the famous terroir of the Agly Valley. 35 hectares of vines grow on a variety of soils and produce grapes of perfect quality. The aim is to capture the purity of the terroir and to support the vines and the resulting wine with sustainable agriculture and winemaking methods.
In 1996, when Francois Lurton came to Maury in the Pyrenées-Orientales, he recognized the potential and began to produce authentic wines. It was not until 2009, when the owner retired, he was able to acquire the property.
In 2011, the cellar was raised from the ground with the aim of enabling all methods of winemaking. It also allows to vinify all grapes without the addition of sulfur to preserve their aromatic purity.
