This Chardonnay is energetic and bright, balancing mouthwatering acidity, fresh citrus, and elegant texture with exceptional purity and precision. Meyer lemon and just-ripe mandarin orange mingle with pithy herbaceous notes and a fine mist of green citrus oil. On the palate, savory preserved lemon and a hint of spice complement the backbone of acidity. Briny ocean spray minerality lifts the tightly-knit texture, which expands across the mouth for a vibrant finish..
The 2024 Sonoma Coast growing season was marked by dynamic weather patterns and was capped with a vigorous finish. After winter pruning, adequate rainfall kept soils saturated through early spring. Budbreak unfolded across the region just as the weather turned, ushering in summer conditional that were very favorable, supporting steady canopy development and shoot elongation.
