He ran the Emmolo Nursery, playing an instrumental role as the Valley became a renowned wine region. His days as a nurseryman were based on hard work and handshakes, providing grapevines to many of the wineries that put the region on the map. He still lives in the home he grew up in, where I often join him for a meal and a good glass of wine. Made from grapes grown on some of Napa Valley’s best Cabernet soils, this wine is rich, layered, and textured. ”
