Ca’ dei Frati dates back to at least 1782, when the estate pops up in local history as “a house with a cellar located in Lugana in the Sermion district known as the place of the Friars.” Its modern history begins in 1939, when Felice Dal Cero, the son of a grape grower, moved into that “house with a cellar” and realized the property’s potential for viticulture.
