Fteri Moschofilero is an intensely floral wine combining the perfume of night-blooming jasmine, rose and citrus fruits.
The Troupis family diligently harvests Moschofilero grapes among ferns and fruit trees. This aromatic, medium-bodied delight boasts a perfumed nose of herbs, honey, and red berries. The palate balances citrus with searing acidity. Practicing organic. The Troupis winery is situated in the heart of Mantinia plateau in the Fteri region of Greece, the core of the viticultural zone itself at an altitude of about 700m above sea level.
This native, aromatic, and lively variety form the plateau of Mantinea is the great protagonist of our winery. The grape harvest takes place in October.
Moschofilero is considered one of the most important grape varieties in the Greek wine industry. In particular, it has been chosen as one of the four ambassador varieties of Greek wine abroad, alongside the Naousa Xinomavro, the Santorini Asyrtiko and the Nemea Agiorgitiko.
