The predominant Cabernet warrants serious meat dishes like lamb, beef and game, while the hint of Merlot, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot allow for slightly lighter fare, prepared robustly. For a crowd, this Faust is fantastic with a coffee- and pepper-rubbed rib roast. Serve it with a creamy potato gratin and sauteed spinach and the diner delight will follow naturally. Pan-seared lamb chops with a dark mushroom polenta will showcase the earthy side of this luscious Napa Valley Cab.
